Starting at the end of 2016 with Joshua Gillis, Naomi Bartlett, Kathryn Edwards, and Gabby Herrera, this Nashville four piece pulls from past tendencies of no wave and post-punk to create hooky tunes to quit your job to. Forged with the intention of opening the floor to less than seasoned musicians with more spunk and less jade, Donors landed a foothold in the Nashville underground music scene with catchy tracks like "Where Do You Live?", a rallying cry for the underpaid workers of an It City™ trying to get by. On this second effort, Donors gets to the core of the matter with lyrics ranging from the rejection of the working class to how one's past is never quite so far behind. Now with Linda Parrott on guitar as of 2019, the quad moves forward with plans to scratch up your rose colored lenses.
